OSHA Violation Ladders
What is OSHA?
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is a federal organization that ensures safe and healthy working conditions by enforcing standards and providing workplace safety training.
Falls are amongst the most common causes of serious work related in related injuries and deaths. Fall protection is the backup system planned for a worker who could loose his or her balance at height, in order to control or eliminate injury potential. Some example fall related injuries include falling off of overhead platforms, evelated work stations or into holes in the floors and walls.
OSHA violations can potentially mean large financial penalties for a business. OSHA penalties are given out based on the severity of the violation. Some fines range from $60,000 for a small OSHA infraction to $1,000,000+ and potential facilities shut down.
